Chariots Health Clubs Ltd opened the doors to its first Sauna Chariots Shoreditch in 1996 and was hailed as the first and best sauna of its size and capacity in the UK.
Chariots Shoreditch was closely followed by Chariots Streatham and Farringdon in 1999, Chariots Limehouse in 2002, Chariots Waterloo in 2003, and finally Chariots Vauxhall in 2005.
Due to gentrification, redevelopment, and TFL Crossrail expansion the Vauxhall branch now stands alone and strong, carrying on to provide a needed service to the Gay and Bi-sexual community.
Chariots is London’s biggest and busiest Sauna situated in the middle of Vauxhall’s clubbing area, just a stones throw away from Vauxhall’s Public Transport hub of trains, tube, and buses. Its an easy jump from Central London’s Bars and nightspots.
Chariots attracts gay and bi-sexual men of all ages and types from London, the UK and the rest of the world. Housing up to 500 lockers, and providing a large spa pool, two steam rooms, two saunas, a maze of private rooms and meeting areas, a huge relaxing lounge area and cafe-bar serving drinks and snacks.
